
Charles Boushon

Charles "Charlie" Boushon, 68, of Chili died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at the House Of The Dove in Marshfield with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church. Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield is assisting the Family with arrangements.
Charlie was born July 6, 1943, in Chili, the son of Henry and Freida (Rossberg) Boushon. He proudly served his country during Vietnam and was awarded 4 Bronze Service Stars. After his honorable discharge he returned home to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Truck Driver for the Trierweiler Construction Company. In retirement Charles worked for the Super Wash in Marshfield.
Charlie was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. He was also a member of the Operator's Engineers Local Union 139; as well as, a Life Member of the American Legion Post 54 in Marshfield. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and time spent with family, especially his great-great-nephew, Christopher. He took special pride in reuniting with his combat brothers.
He is lovingly survived by his siblings, Edward Boushon of Chili, Elsie (Duane) Jakobi of Chili, Lois Boushon of Marshfield, and Louise Hamer of Spencer. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as, great-great-nieces and nephews. He will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Freida; as well as, siblings, Erna Jonett, Alfred Boushon, Harry Boushon, Gerald Boushon, and Fred Boushon.
