William G. Threw

William G. Threw, 65, of 112 Knox Highway 22 Farmington, IL. passed away at 10:47 pm Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Bill was born on March 2, 1947 in Canton to Glenn and Stella Orton Threw. He married Julie Patterson on March 28, 1969 in Farmington. She survives along with 3 daughter; Tonya (Sean) Terrell of Davenport, IA., Michelle Threw (Beau Bewley) of Yates City, and Rachel (Eric) Edwards of Peoria, and 3 grandchildren; Alex, Kelsey, and Kiley. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Samantha.
Bill was a farmer and a carpenter for local #183 of Peoria. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the Army in the 36th as an Engineer from 1967-1968.
Services will be 11:00 am Monday, June 18 at the Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington where visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 pm. The Rev. Fitzgerald will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to either Farmington Rescue 1100 or Logan/Trivoli Fire and Rescue.
